Adoptable Lake Norman Pet: 'Wiggle Butt' Petey In Search Of Home

MOORESVILLE, NC — If all this time spent hunkered down at home recently has left you in need of companionship, consider adopting a dog from Happy Tails Rescue, Inc. The Lake Norman-area animal rescue organization fosters dogs in need and finds them new homes.

One of their available pets is Petey, a 15-year-old precious pooch hoping to win over his next owner.

Here's what Happy Tails Rescue says about Petey:
"Petey is an amazing little guy who is 15 going on 3. He absolutely loves to play and will bring you his toys in an attempt to entice you into a game of fetch. Petey loves to take daily walks and enjoys meeting new people. In fact, he considers himself the official greeter of his foster home. With his bright eyes and wiggle butt it’s hard to not fall in love at first sight with this precious boy. Petey is fine with other dogs and has lived with a cats."

Petey may be adopted upon application approval. Happy Tails Rescue provides all age-appropriate shots, rabies, spay/neuter, a micro chip, heartworm test (treatment if positive), monthly prevention if negative, as well as a goody bag of toys, treats, collar and leash. Adoptions also come with one month of free pet health insurance.
