Appointments Available For Saturday Vaccination Event In Iredell
The Iredell Health System is administering first doses of the Pfizer vaccine at the April 3 vaccination event.
IREDELL COUNTY, NC — Iredell Health System is hosting a Pfizer vaccination event in Statesville Saturday, April 3. Those eligible for the event include Groups 1 through 4, who are essential workers, medically at higher risk, as well as those ages 65 and up and healthcare workers.
As of Thursday afternoon, appointments were still available.
Pfizer second dose appointments will be scheduled about three weeks after the event.

"If you cannot make the second dose appointment, please do not schedule a first dose appointment. Instead, please wait to schedule an appointment until there is a clinic where you will be able to attend both the first and second dose dates," Iredell Health System said.

The vaccination events are scheduled from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 3 at Iredell Memorial Hospital, located at 557 Brookdale Drive in Statesville.
