Big Daddy’s, Big Tiny’s BBQ, Table 31: Kitchen Inspection Grades

MOORESVILLE, NC — Recent health inspections at seven Mooresville area restaurant kitchens found numerous violations, from dirty pans to old food and improper refrigeration.

All recently inspected restaurants in Mooresville kept their "A" health rating, however violations were found.

A Feb. 27 inspection at The Finish Line Restaurant, for example, an inspection found seven violations that included lettuce that was kept past its expiration date, several metal pans with minor food residue and several items, such as ham and ranch dressing, not being refrigerated at the proper temperatures.

An inspection that same day at Big Daddy’s documented nine violations, including a repeat violation of storage pans stacked and “visibly soiled,” coolers and hoods that were visibly soiled and pans stacked while wet. “General cleaning in most spaces required, however, very much improved,” the inspection report said.
