Iredell's First 24-Hour Urgent Care Now Open In Mooresville
The new facility on Bluefield Road is the county's first 24-hour urgent care location outside of a hospital emergency room.

MOORESVILLE, NC — Tending to non-emergency medical needs just got more convenient for Lake Norman area residents. Iredell Urgent Care has opened a 24-hour urgent care facility at 653 Bluefield Road in Mooresville.
The facility is the county's first 24-hour urgent care location outside of a hospital emergency room, according to Iredell Health System.
"We offer excellent care that our patients and community need right then and there," Kristin Lowe, clinical coordinator of Iredell Urgent Care, said in a statement.

The facility feature a procedure room and nine examination rooms. It also has an in-house diagnostic imaging center and laboratory that will provide rapid test results for patients with non life-threatening medical issues, such as minor fractures or cuts, vomiting, diarrhea, cough, fever, rashes, animal bites and ear or sinus infections.
"Urgent care is the middle ground between your primary care provider and the emergency room," said Dr. Jonathan Bringolf, who serves as Iredell Urgent Care medical director and is also a Wake Forest emergency physician. Services offered are a quicker and cheaper alternative to an emergency room, he added. "It's great for treating minor illnesses and injuries that can't wait until the following day to be seen."
