Holiday Hams Needed In Mooresville: How To Donate
FeedNC in Mooresville is asking for community help to provide Christmas dinner for Lake Norman families in need.
MOORESVILLE, NC — A Mooresville-based food pantry that serves hundreds of Lake Norman families is asking for community help in providing Christmas hams this holiday.
"Christmas is right around the corner and we need your help this year more than ever to provide Christmas dinner for our neighbors in need," said FeedNC. "Due to the pandemic, a record amount of our community members are out of work and therefore, cannot provide basic nutrition for themselves and their families so it's up to us to step up so they're not forgotten!"
The FeedNC food pantry said it was in need of whole hams to distribute as part of Christmas meals that will also include sides, such as cranberry sauce, jarred or canned gravy, boxed stuffing, instant potatoes, canned green beans and corn, canned yams, and boxed macaroni and cheese.
