Mooresville 'Back 2 School Bash' Event: How To Register

This annual back-to-school event distributes free shoes, school supplies, clothing, and more to students in Mooresville Graded Schools.

MOORESVILLE, NC — School is out for the summer, but students in Mooresville Graded Schools will soon have a reason to look forward to the upcoming school year. The annual Back 2 School Bash event that gives away free shoes, school supplies, clothing, and more to students in Mooresville Graded Schools is set to take place Saturday, July 10.

The one-day event is set to take place at Mooresville Middle School, located at 233 Kistler Farm Road in Mooresville from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Registration is required and must be completed by July 1.

This year, the event will be drive-thru and attendees are asked to wear a mask. Masks are required for anyone exiting their vehicle to access the clothing tent.

As of June 3, more than 550 students had already registered for the event.

"Students can receive school supplies, backpacks, new shoes, and gently used clothing (if they wish)," organizers said. "This annual event has become such an important part of our community and is instrumental in helping all of our students have the necessary tools to start their school year off right!"
