Mooresville Man Tries To Flee Police, Crashes Into Patrol Car
Conner Shane Stillson, 24, of Mooresville faces numerous charges, including drug possession and felony speeding to elude, police said.
MOORESVILLE, NC — A Mooresville man faces numerous felony charges after attempting to outrun police during a traffic stop Wednesday.
According to a police statement about the March 17 incident, a Mooresville Police Department officer attempted to stop a vehicle driven by Conner Shane Stillson, 24, due to a traffic violation on East McLelland Avenue.
Stillson refused to stop and fled from the officer.

"During the pursuit, Stillson crashed his vehicle into a police car and later lost control and crash into another car," MPD said, adding that no injuries were reported from the crashes.
Stillson was charged taken into custody and charged with assault on law enforcement; felony speeding to elude; felony possession of Methamphetamine; and multiple traffic offenses resulting from the pursuit. He was also charged with outstanding warrants for arrest for failing to appear in court on multiple drug violations and traffic offenses, MPD said.
