Mooresville Town Board To Meet Aug. 3: How To Watch Online

Mooresville's town board meeting is set for Aug. 3, and includes public hearings on two rezoning projects and a request for electric fences.

MOORESVILLE, NC — The Town of Mooresville Board of Commissioners will hold its next upcoming board meeting Monday, Aug. 3 at the Charles Mack Citizen Center. Members of the public may attend the meeting in person or view it online.

"Please note if you plan to attend masks will be required and social distancing guidelines and CDC recommendations will be followed," the town said in a statement.

The town's Agenda Briefing will also be held online Friday, July 31 at 8:30 a.m., the town said.

"The purpose of these meetings is to provide the Board of Commissioners with an opportunity to address town staff and ask questions regarding agenda items and presentations that will be heard during the Regular Meetings, held on the first and third Mondays of each month. Such items will include presentations, consent agenda items and regular agenda items," the town said.

  • Text amendment request from the Town of Mooresville to allow above-ground electrified fences.
  • Rezoning request from William Downing to rezone a portion of property on Haney Drive from Single Family Residential-2 (R2) to General Industrial (GI).
  • Rezoning request from Dr. Harsh Govil for property located at 459 Brawley School Road to go from Single Family Residential-2 (R2) to Corridor Mixed Use (CMX)

  • Attend the meeting in person at 6 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 3 at The Charles Mack Citizen Center located at 215 N. Main Street, Mooresville. If you have printed material you would like to present please bring 7 copies.; OR
