Overturned Propane Truck Shuts Down Mooresville Highway

MOORESVILLE, NC — Drivers in north Mooresville were advised to avoid Oakridge Farm Highway Friday afternoon after an overturned propane truck shut down traffic, according to town authorities.

The accident occurred between NC-801 and Wiggins Road. Injuries were reported in the accident, Town of Mooresville spokesperson Kim Sellers said.

“Motorists should avoid this area until at least 6 p.m. as crews work to remove the truck and complete clean-up of the scene,” Sellers said. “There is no evidence of a leak but Haz-Mat crews are on scene for assistance, if needed.”
