Pfizer Vaccination Event Set For Wednesday In Mooresville: ICHD
Appointments are available for the first-dose Pfizer vaccination clinic that will be held at Mazeppa Park Wednesday, April 7.
MOORESVILLE, NC — Iredell County Health Department will hold a first-dose Pfizer vaccination clinic Wednesday, April 7 in Mooresville.
Those eligible for the free coronavirus vaccine include anyone in Groups 1 through 4, or those considered an essential worker, medically at high risk, living in a congregate setting, is 65 years old or older, or a medical worker, according to ICHD.
The event will take place at Mazeppa Park, located at 645 Mazeppa Road in Mooresville.

The news comes as the state readies to open up vaccinations to Group 5, which includes all residents 16 years old and older who wants one, beginning April 7.
According to ICHD, Group 5 participants will be eligible to participate in an event set for Monday, April 12. As of Thursday, however, appointment availability for that event was not yet open.

ICHD will soon also open appointments for additional clinics on the following dates:
- Monday, April 19 — Pfizer vaccine first-dose, Groups 1-5
- Monday, April 26 — Pfizer vaccine first-dose, Groups 1-5

How To Make An Appointment
- Appointments (when available) may be made here.
- Follow the "Schedule Appointment" links to reach the first-dose vaccine table.
- Then click the "Schedule Appointment" link in the table for the March 14th COVID-19 Vaccination clinic.
- If appointments are available, select the time slot you would like.
- Create a new Novel Health account using your preferred email address, or log into an existing account.
- Confirm your contact and appointment information is correct.
- Click the "Book Appointment" button.
- Complete and print the registration form on the Health Department website and bring it with you to your appointment.
- Remember to write down your appointment time so you do not forget.
- Do not arrive at the Vaccination Site more than 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.
