Registration Underway For Sheriff’s Athletic League Volleyball

Registration for the 2020 volleyball season is open and free for children between the ages of 8 and 16 years of age, the sheriff said.

IREDELL COUNTY, NC — Registration is underway for the Sheriff’s Athletic League volleyball for the 2020 season, Sheriff Darren Campbell said Tuesday.

Registration is free and open to Iredell County residents between the ages of 8 and 16 years of age. There is no charge to play, Campbell said.

The deadline for registration is Feb 29.

Here’s how to register your child:

  • To register, please go to our website, www.iredellsheriff.com. Click on the “How Do I” tab. In the drop down box you will see, Sheriff’s Athletic League. Click this tab. You will be directed to the Sheriff’s Athletic League page.
  • Print off the ICSAL Medical Release Form, and bring with you to the first practice.
  • To register to play, click on the “Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Youth Athletic League Application”. Once the page opens, just complete the information and submit.
  • Once registration is closed out, you will receive additional information.

Last year, more than 260 boys and girls competed in the athletic league, according to the sheriff’s office.
