IREDELL COUNTY, NC — The Iredell County Sheriff's Office is asking for the community's help identifying a suspect caught on camera during an attempted burglary of a Hiddenite home Tuesday morning.

The male suspect, who drove a four-door Toyota sedan, attempted to enter the home located in the 400 block of Hill Farm Road in north Iredell County before dawn March 16.

"The male pried open a door to a crawl space on the home then attempted to enter the residence through a door in the garage," ICSO said in a statement. "A resident of the home was on the phone with 911 and scared the suspect off."

The sheriff's office said that anyone with information about the suspect, the vehicle or the incident is asked to contact ICSO at 704-878-3100, or call 9-1-1.
