Search On For Suspect Wanted In Fatal Iredell Shooting: ICSO
Tyrell Dantaye Daniels has been identified as the suspect in an early morning homicide near Statesville, the sheriff's office said.

IREDELL COUNTY, NC — Authorities in Iredell County are searching for a suspect they say should be considered armed and dangerous who is wanted for a homicide. The fatal shooting occurred on Williams Road in west Statesville before dawn Tuesday morning.
Iredell County Sheriff's Office identified the suspect as 31-year-old Tyrell Dantaye Daniels, who is also known as "Lil Buckey."
According to ICSO, deputies responded around 3 a.m. to the 1000 block of Williams Road in Statesville and a secondary scene at Iredell Memorial Hospital.

"One victim was confirmed deceased at the hospital. We are not releasing the victim’s name at this point in the investigation," ICSO said.
"He is entered as 'Wanted' for one count of Murder," Sheriff Darren Campbell said in a statement.

ICSO said that anyone with information about Daniels' whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office at 704-878-3100.
