Small Plane Crashes Into Lake Norman Near Davidson: Report
One person was injured after the single-engine plane crashed three miles northwest of Lake Norman Airpark, reports said.
IREDELL COUNTY, NC — One person was injured after a small plane crashed into Lake Norman near Davidson on Saturday afternoon. According to a report by WSOC-TV, the single-engine A1B plane crashed about three miles northwest of Lake Norman Airpark.
Officials told WSOC the pilot, who was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, was the only person on board.
The crash remains under investigation.
