Tractor Trailer Fire Shuts Down I-77 North In Iredell County
Northbound traffic along Interstate 77 shut down Thursday after a tractor trailer caught on fire near Troutman.

MOORESVILLE, NC — Both northbound lanes of Interstate 77 came to a standstill for about an hour in Iredell County Thursday afternoon after a tractor trailer caught on fire near Troutman.
The incident occurred near mile marker 41, and the lanes were reopened around 1 p.m., according to reports.
Rescue crews from around the Lake Norman region, including Mooresville, Troutman and Lake Norman fire departments, responded to the scene.
