Traffic Light Revamp On NC 115 To Improve Efficiency: NCDOT

Sick of traffic along NC 115 between Mooresville and Davidson? NCDOT says a new signal project will help improve efficiency.

MOORESVILLE, NC — Traffic flow along NC 115 between Mooresville and Davidson is about to improve, say North Carolina transportation officials.

North Carolina Department of Transportation has awarded a $180,650 contract for the installation of equipment that will create a closed loop signal system, it said July 3. The equipment will be installed at already existing traffic lights along the busy — and often congested — artery connecting the two Lake Norman towns at Yellow Wood Circle, Langtree Road and Hobbs Lane, Quality Drive and Faith Road, Fairview Road and Waterlynn Road.

“The upgrades will help move traffic more efficiently on N.C. 115 between Mooresville and Davidson,” NCDOT said in a statement.
