Two Missing Iredell Children Found Safe In Georgia: Sheriff
An Amber Alert was issued after police said a four-year-old boy and his two-year-old sister were taken from their Iredell home.
IREDELL COUNTY, NC — Two children reported abducted from their Iredell County home Wednesday were found safe overnight in Georgia, according to the Iredell County Sheriff's Office.
The children were located in College Park, Georgia, Iredell County Sheriff Darren Campbell said.
Wednesday evening, an Amber Alert was issued for Easton Redmon, 4, and Annsleigh Redmon, 2, after they went missing from their home on Dobson Farm Road in Statesville.

"Deputies say 25-year-old Amanda Redmon, who is the mother, is the one alleged abductor," ICSO said Wednesday evening, adding that the trio were thought to be traveling to Augusta, Georgia.
"Thank you to the US Marshall Service and College Park [Police Department] for assistance in bringing the children home safely," Campbell said.
