US Marshals Offer Reward For 'Armed, Dangerous' Iredell Suspect

IREDELL COUNTY, NC — The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a $3,000 in the search to locate a 31-year-old man wanted in connection to a fatal shooting in Statesville earlier this month, the Iredell County Sheriff's Office announced.

ICSO identified the suspect as Tyrell Dantaye Daniels, who is also known as "Lil Bucky."

Daniels is described as having black hair, brown eyes, and tattoos on both arms and both hands.

"Daniels should be considered armed and dangerous," ICSO said. In addition to the $3,000 reward offered by the U.S. Marshals Service, a reward of up to $1,000 is available through Crime Stoppers funds, ICSO said.

The fatal shooting occurred on Williams Road in west Statesville before dawn June 8. According to ICSO, deputies responded around 3 a.m. to the 1000 block of Williams Road in Statesville and a secondary scene at Iredell Memorial Hospital.

"One victim was confirmed deceased at the hospital. We are not releasing the victim's name at this point in the investigation," ICSO said at the time of the incident.

"He is entered as 'Wanted' for one count of Murder," Sheriff Darren Campbell said in the statement.

ICSO said that anyone with information about Daniels' whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Iredell County Sheriff's Office at 704-902-1211.
