Valentine's Day Winter Weather: Mooresville's Forecast

MOORESVILLE, NC — Wintry weather could soon be returning to the Charlotte metro. Soggy weather is expected throughout the southeast this week and could turn into snow showers in Mooresville by Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

A chance of rain is expected every day this week, NWS said. By late Friday night and early Saturday, however, arctic air plunging into the region could change that precipitation into snow.

The chance of wintry weather will linger until Valentine's Day on Sunday, according to forecasters. Any potential snowfall likely won't stick around too long, though. The high on Sunday is expected to reach the mid-40s.
