Week Ahead Weather: Summer Heat Returns To Mooresville

MOORESVILLE, NC -- Summer is back in the Lake Norman region, with sunshine and warm temperatures expected everyday this week through the weekend, forecasters say.

The highs this week will top out around 87 degrees with lows in the 60s, according to the National Weather Service.

While the weather will likely be warm, dry and pleasant in the Lake Norman region, forecasters are keeping their eyes on Hurricanes Jose and Maria brewing in the Atlantic. These storms could potentially bring heavy rains and rip currents along the east coast of the U.S., according to NWS.
