Williamson Road To Close Overnight In Mooresville

MOORESVILLE, NC — Williamson Road bridge over Lake Norman will close Monday night from 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. Aug. 27, the Town of Mooresville said.

The closure is to allow North Carolina Department of Transportation to perform a geotech subsurface investigation, the town said.

Signs indicating an alternate detour route will be posted, the town added.

Detour Route

• Motorists traveling south on Williamson Road will follow the posted route using Brawley School Road to Interstate 77 South to Williamson Road.

• Traffic traveling north on Williamson will also follow signs to use I-77 N and Brawley School Road.
