Old Site in South End Readying For New Restaurant Life

The "Summit Crossing"building that once housed Mynt is undergoing a rehab to attract a new eatery, real estate firm says.

CHARLOTTE, NC -- South End will soon have a new restaurant in the building that was once Mynt Restaurant & Lounge, a Charlotte developed said. The 3,300 square-foot space is getting an interior and exterior overhaul by The Nichols Company.

“We want someone that serves good food and appeals to the dramatically shifting neighborhood,” Nichols’ broker Josh Beaver told The Charlotte Observer. The search for a new restaurant tenant is on, and they hope to fill the space soon, he told the newspaper.
