South End Bagel Shop Closed After Bullets Pierce Windows
Owen's Bagel closed for the day after at least three bullets pierced a window during an early morning shooting, according to a report.

CHARLOTTE, NC — Owen’s Bagel & Deli on South Boulevard closed early Tuesday after a shooting left several bullet holes in one of its windows, according to a report.
Police responded to the South End bagel shop around 6:30 a.m. after a report of a shooting in the area, Charlotte Magazine reported.
One window of the eatery, which was occupied at the time of the shooting, had at least three bullet holes, the magazine said. According to police, no one was injured in the incident.

The shop posted a sign stating it would reopen Feb. 20.
