Suspect Wanted For Multiple Felonies On The Run: CMPD
Cordell Peters cut off the electronic monitor he was ordered to wear while he awaits trial for numerous felonies, Charlotte police say.

CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte police are searching for a suspect wanted on numerous felonies including stealing a vehicle and who is now on the run after he cut off a court-ordered electronic monitoring device.
Cordell Peters, 19, was ordered to wear the device as a condition of his pre-trial release, but cut it off Sunday in south Charlotte. He was last known to be in the area of 141 Short Hills Drive in Charlotte.
According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, Peters is wanted for multiple counts of breaking into a motor vehicle, multiple counts of financial transaction card theft/fraud, larceny of a motor vehicle, felony larceny, conspiracy to commit felony, as well as damage to property and interfering with an electronic monitoring device.

CMPD asks that anyone with information about Peters’ location call the Electronic Monitoring Unit at 704-432-8888, option #3 or call 911.
