Traffic Alert: Downed Tree Shuts Down Providence Road
Providence Road is closed from Fairview Road to International Drive, Charlotte police said.

CHARLOTTE, NC — The rainy morning commute near SouthPark became more complicated for drivers Thursday morning. A downed tree and telephone pole has shut down Providence Road between Fairview Road and International Drive, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
“Providence Road is closed completely in both directions,” CMPD.
