According to a police account of the incident, Horbachefsky’s car was traveling southwest on Gibbon Road, when it crossed the center double yellow line and hit a 2015 Toyota Tundra head on.
“After impact, the Toyota Corolla ran off the roadway and overturned onto its side,” Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said in a statement. “Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts and speed is not a contributing factor for this crash.”
