CHARLOTTE, NC — A man was shot and left with non life-threatening injuries in a carjacking outside a Charlotte apartment complex early Wednesday morning, according to reports.

The carjacking occurred around 1 a.m. on Community Circle, WSOC reported. The apartment complex is located off Eastway Drive near The Plaza.

According to the station, police are searching for the carjacking suspect and the stolen vehicle.
