Former CMS Employee Nabbed For Sex Assault Of Student: Report

A former teacher at Sugar Creek Charter in Charlotte was arrested and charged with taking indecent liberties with a 13-year-old student.

CHARLOTTE, NC — A former employee of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools was arrested Monday and charged with the sexual assault of a 13-year-old student who attended Sugar Creek Charter School in Charlotte, according to a report.

The victim’s parents told Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police that their daughter said she had been sexually assaulted by Vincent Littlejohn, 30, multiple times over a month-long period that begain in late September 2018, WCNC reported. The school district told the station that Littlejohn had not worked for CMS since late June.

Littlejohn was arrested and taken into custody Nov. 26, and was charged with indecent liberties with a student, indecent liberties with a child and simple assault. His bond was set at $22,500.
