‘Life-Threatening Injuries’ For Man Shot In North Charlotte
Police received a 911 call around 4 a.m. Thursday morning, and found a man with a life-threatening gunshot wound.

CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte police are investigating a predawn shooting in north Charlotte that has left a man with life-threatening injuries.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police officers responded to the 1000 block of Druid Circle around 4 a.m. Dec. 20 after receiving a 911 call that a man had been shot. Officers found the male victim, who has not yet been identified by police pending family notification, in the street with a gunshot wound.
Medic transported the victim to Carolinas Medical Center - Main, where he is being treated for life-threatening injuries.

CMPD asks that anyone with information about this incident call 704-432-TIPS and speak directly to a homicide detective, or call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
