Movie In the Park, Midwood Gives Back: Plaza Midwood In September

CHARLOTTE, NC — From a canine carnival to a movie in the park, there’s a lot going on in Plaza Midwood in September, according to the Plaza Midwood Neighborhood Association.

Area residents can expect to see empty bags left on their doorstep for food collections for Second Harvest Food Bank, PMNA said.

“Last year, Plaza Midwood donated more than 3,000 pounds of food items for Second Harvest at time when they were desperately in need. We want to top that number this year, and we need your help,” the association said in its monthly newsletter.

Donations will be picked up Saturday, Sept. 22.
