Plaza Midwood Readies For Tour Of Homes

CHARLOTTE, NC -- Residents of Plaza Midwood and those interested in learning more about the historical Charlotte neighborhood will have an opportunity to see the best it has to offer this weekend with its annual Maynia Festival and Home Tour.

This year’s home tour includes eight homes, an Airstream trailer and the Plaza Presbyterian Church. For those who are interested in seeing the sites on a set of wheels, Charlotte B-Cycle will be lending out bicycles.

• Friday, May 5 -- Candlelight tour of homes, 6-8 p.m.
• Saturday, May 6 -- Midwood Miles 5K, 8:30 a.m. in Midwood Park
• Saturday, May 6 -- Home and Garden Tour, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
