Police Search For North Charlotte Armed Robbery Suspect

CHARLOTTE, NC — Police are asking for the public’s help locating a man they say is wanted in the armed robbery of a North Charlotte convenience store earlier this month.

According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, the suspect entered the Express Mart convenience store located at 4200 Statesville Road with a weapon shortly after 7 a.m. on May 5th.

He took property and then fled the scene, police said.

The suspect is described as about 5-foot, 10-inches tall and as having a thin build, police said.

CMPD said that anyone who recognizes the suspect or has any other information about this case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
