Schedule Set For Plaza Midwood’s ‘Summer Movies In Midwood Park’
The summer movie series has added movies to the annual line up this year. Here's when you can watch them.
CHARLOTTE, NC — Perhaps the only thing better than a great movie is a great movie enjoyed with friends under the stars for free. Residents of Plaza Midwood will have a summer of free outdoor movies to look forward to in 2018, according to the neighborhood’s association.
The “Summer Movies in Midwood Park” family-friendly movie series returns to the north Charlotte park in May, with Raiders of the Lost Ark. This year’s blockbusters on tap also include Jurassic Park, E.T., Grease and Beetlejuice.
The series runs through October, according to the Plaza Midwood Neighborhood Association.

Here is the movie series schedule:
- Saturday, May 26: Raiders of the Lost Ark
- Saturday, June 30: Jurassic Park
- Saturday, Aug. 25: E.T.
- Saturday, Sept. 29: Grease
- Saturday, Oct. 20: Beetlejuice
Midwood Park is located at 2100 wilhelmina Avenue, Charlotte.
