St. Patrick’s Day Forecast: What NoDa, Plaza-Midwood Can Expect
Weather conditions are expected to change a bit by Thursday leading into the weekend. Here's what you need to know.

CHARLOTTE, NC — Winter weather had its last gasp Wednesday morning, with snow showers reported throughout the Charlotte-metro and Lake Norman regions. Warmer temperatures on on the way, however, with highs expected around 63 by Thursday.
Clear and sunny skies, and spring-like temperatures will be on deck through the weekend, according to the National Weather Service. Saturday’s St. Patrick’s Day in the Charlotte region is expected to be partly sunny with a high near 55, which is perfect parade weather.
Saturday evening could see a small chance of rain, but by Sunday, skies will be partly sunny with a high of 66.

Rain and snow showers likely, mainly before 11am. Sunny, with a high near 45. West northwest wind 7 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Mostly clear, with a low around 29. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Sunny, with a high near 63. Southwest wind 7 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
