Suspect With Tattooed Face Wanted For Sexual Assault : CMPD

According to police, the suspect pulled a weapon and sexually assaulted a woman on Shamrock Drive.

CHARLOTTE, NC — A woman was sexually assaulted in a home on Shamrock Drive Thursday morning by a suspect who pulled a weapon, according to Charlotte police. The suspect has been identified as a 40-year-old man with a bald head and distinctive face tattoos.

The incident occurred in the 3500 block of Shamrock Drive in Charlotte Thursday morning. The victim told police, who received her 911 call around 11:15 a.m., that she was speaking with the suspect — identified as Tommy Williamson — in the home when he pulled out a weapon and sexually assaulted her. She was able to free herself and call 911, but Williamson ran from the home before officers arrived.

Williamson is described as having a height of 6-feet, 3-inches, a bald head and multiple face tattoos.
