Baby Daughter Of Carolina Hurricanes Co-Captain Jordan Staal Dies
Staal, 29, has missed the last two games due to family and personal reasons.

RALEIGH, NC — Carolina Hurricanes co-captain Jordan Staal is away from the team following the death of his infant daughter. The team in a statement on Sunday offered Staal and his wife, Heather, its "thoughts and prayers" following the death of their daughter Hannah.
A team spokesman told ESPN the girl died on Saturday.
Staal, 29, has missed the last two games due to family and personal reasons. It wasn't immediately known how long Staal will be away from the team.
