At today's afternoon City Council meeting, City Clerk Gail Smith was recognized for 50 years of service to the City of Raleigh. Gail has served through 12 Mayors, 26 City Councils, and 1,660+ Council meetings! Mayor Mary-ann Baldwin proclaimed today a Day of Appreciation for City Clerk Gail Smith.
