Kids Swarm Raleigh Build-A-Bear Workshop For Promotion (VIDEO)
Worldwide, the stores saw hours-long lines as any 3-year-old could buy a bear — which normally cost $35 or so — for just $3.

RALEIGH, NC — Did you wait to visit the Crabtree Valley Mall's Build-A-Bear Workshop? Then it's too late to "pay your age." The toy company abruptly nixed the global promotion as hordes of kids showed up bright and early, forming hours-long lines, including at the Raleigh location.
Build-A-Bear had been offering quite the deal Thursday: Get any "Make-Your-Own" furry friend for the price of a kid's age, as long as the child was in the store. But it was too good to be true, apparently, as Disney World-sized lines formed.
The company said in a statement it would no longer be accepting additional guests due to "crowds and safety concerns."

"We have closed lines in our U.S. and Canada stores. We understand some Guests are disappointed and we will reach out directly as soon as possible."
Video posted on social media showed an enormous line at the local store. The line reportedly stretched around the entire first floor of the mall.

I have never seen anything like this at @CrabtreeValley1. The line for @buildabear nearly wraps around the entire first floor of the mall. #CBS17 #Raleigh #BuildABear pic.twitter.com/agzhUEjeub
