Manhunt For North Carolina Murder Suspect Ends In Arizona

Police in Arizona arrested Lynn Keel, a murder suspect wanted in the death of his wife, and emergency room nurse in Nash County.

TUCSON, CA — The manhunt for Lynn Keel, a North Carolina man wanted in connection with the murder of his wife, ended with his arrest outside Tucson Arizona Sunday morning.

Nash County Sheriff’s officials were scouring Nash and Franklin counties for Keel, suspected of murdering his wife Diana Alejandro Keel, a 38-year-old emergency room nurse whose body was found in the forest 30 miles from their home, WRAL.com reported.

Lynn Keel, 57, was considered armed and dangerous, and authorities investigated sightings of the fugitive reported across the country. Keel was initially named a person of interest in his wife’s death and let go by homicide detectives when no charges could be filed. Lynn Keel is a widower whose first wife died in a fall at the home they shared, ABC 11 reported.
