  1. Dozens of people gathered in Raleigh to protest poverty and low wages. The North Carolina Poor People's Campaign is demanding tangible policy change to restructure society from the ground up. (Spectrum News 1)
  2. A Raleigh woman has struck gold with the Millionaire Maker Lottery. While trying to kill time she purchased a ticket and won $1 million. She is the 14th person to win a $1 million prize from the Millionaire Maker game. (WRAL)
  3. NC Lawmakers have come together to write to Gov. Roy Cooper about ending the COVID-19 state of emergency. After approximately 15 months in a state of emergency, lawmakers want to know when it will end. (WBTV)
  4. Raleigh neighborhoods have seen an uptake in coyote and fox sightings in residential areas. With all of the expansion and renovations happening in Raleigh, animal control has gotten an increase in calls due to their habitat being disturbed or destroyed. (WRAL)
  5. Tuesday night, a man was found after 8:00 pm with multiple gunshot wounds. The incident happened near a hotel on Wadford Drive. He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. (CBS17)
