Raleigh State Crime Lab Worker Accidentally Shot: Report
The gun was being tested as evidence when it went off Thursday at the lab on East Tryon Road a DOJ spokeswoman told the News and Observer.

RALEIGH, NC — A state crime lab worker was accidentally shot in Raleigh, a state Department of Justice spokeswoman told the News and Observer. It happened around 11:30 am. Thursday when the worker was testing the gun at the lab on East Tryon Road, the newspaper reported.
The worker was rushed to a hospital and is expected to survive.
