Man Charged With Robbing First Citizens Bank In Raleigh: Police

It happened around 9 a.m. Wednesday near Cameron Park.

RALEIGH, NC — A 54-year-old man has been charged with robbing the First Citizens Bank on Clark Avenue near Cameron Park. It happened just after 9 a.m. Wednesday, police said. Early information suggested the suspect fled after a teller complied with his demands. He did not show weapon or indicate he had one, and no one was hurt.

Thomas Earl Parker has been charged with common law robbery in connection with this incident, police announced Monday. He has been taken to the Wake County Detention Center.
