- Shopping downtown could win you a variety of prizes. Downtown Raleigh Alliance's Support Local, Win Prizes contest has started and will run for 8 weeks. If you spend $10 or more downtown, you can submit your receipt to be in the running for prizes. (abc11)
- More than 7 million pounds of litter has been collected from North Carolina roadsides so far this year. NC Department of Transportation is urging everyone to do their part to keep litter off the roads. (CBS17)
- A critical bus driver shortage means reduced service for eight GoTriangle routes. There are several transit providers experiencing a similar issue and six different agencies will be hosting a job fair to try and find drivers. (abc11)
- Officers are searching for three men who fled from a vehicle crash after leading troopers on a 130 mph car chase down I-540. After crashing into barriers on Harrington Grove Dr. the three men got away. (WSOC-TV, abc11)
- As we get into hurricane season, Raleigh residents know to keep an eye on the coast. The second tropical depression of the 2021 Atlantic Hurricane season has formed just off the coast of NC. It's anticipated that by the time you read this, it will already be Tropical Storm Bill. (CBS17)
