Ohio Cop Hits Partner With Stun Gun During Arrest: Police Video

"You got me," shouts the fallen officer to his partner during the melee. "Sorry, Nick," responds his partner.

RIVERSIDE, OH – As police officers in this southwestern Ohio city tried to arrest a suspect after a domestic violence incident, one officer accidentally deployed his stun gun and hit his partner, according to media reports. The stun gun incident was caught on video by the officer's body cameras.

The incident occurred on Thanksgiving day, according to a report by the Associated Press. The video shows the officers ordering the suspect to get out of a car. When the man resisted, the officers try pulling him from the car. The officers and the suspect were not identified.

Body camera footage shows the "stunned" officer fall to the ground and strike his head. "He turns to his partner and tells him, "You got me." His partner says, "Sorry Nick," as he detains the suspect.

The officer has been hospitalized, and he is expected to fully recover. The 22-year-old suspect has been charged with obstructing official business, failure to disclose personal information and resisting arrest, according to the Associated Press.

The suspect has pleaded not guilty to the charges, according to the AP report.
