Coronavirus Cases Fall Again In Ohio
Ohio's new COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations were down versus their daily average.

OHIO ā Ohio saw another dip in its daily COVID-19 numbers on Friday.
In the past 24 hours, 4,874 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed among Ohioans. That's fewer than Thursday and Wednesday case totals and below the state's three-week rolling average of 5,999 cases per day.
Hospitalizations related to the virus also fell on Friday. In the past 24 hours, 166 Ohioans entered hospitals for COVID-19 treatment. That's down from 256 patients on Thursday and below the state's average of 246 new COVID patients per day.

The Ohio Department of Health estimates that 770,597 Ohioans have contracted COVID-19 and recovered.
Nearly 6.5 percent of Ohioans have received at least the first part of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the state health department. As of Wednesday afternoon, 758,651 Ohioans have received at least the first shot.
