COVID-19 Numbers Jump Slightly Tuesday In Ohio
Ohio saw an uptick in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations on Tuesday.

COLUMBUS, OH — Ohio saw a slight jump in new COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations on Tuesday.
The Ohio Department of Health reported that 1,893 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in the past 24 hours. That's up versus Ohio's rolling average of 1,825 new cases per day, and the most cases confirmed in one day since March 3.
At least 132 Ohioans entered hospitals for COVID-19 treatment in the past 24 hours. That's the most virus-related hospitalizations in a day since Feb. 26.

Here are all of Tuesday's COVID-19 numbers:
- New cases: 1,893.
- New hospitalizations: 132.
- New ICU admissions: 17.
At least 929,414 Ohioans have contracted COVID-19 and recovered, the Ohio Department of Health said.
More than 17 percent of Ohioans have received at least the first part of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the state health department. More than 9.5 percent of Ohioans have received both COVID-19 vaccine shots.
As of Monday afternoon, 1.99 million Ohioans had received at least the first shot and 1.13 million Ohioans have completed the vaccination process.
