Detroit Police Search For Missing Girl, 3

The girl's mom is suspected of taking the child from her home.

DETROIT, MI – Police are looking for a 3-year-old girl that officers say was taken from her father's home. Police said that Shonnell Perry was taken by her mother, Lucia Perry, on Thursday.

The girl had been at her father's home in the 20500-block of Biltmore Street in Detroit. Shonnell is 2 feet, 5 inches tall, weighs approximately 70 pounds and has four pony tails, according to police. She was last seen wearing a brown jacket, white T-shirt, turquoise jeans and light brown Timberland boots.

Her mother, Lucia Perry, is described as a 34-year old female, 5 feet, 3 inches tall, approximately 135 pounds and has straight shoulder-length black hair. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, green shirt, green pants and gray shoes. She does not have a vehicle and is known to frequent the area of 8 Mile Road and Greenfield.

Lucia is in good physical condition but suffers from a mental health condition, police said. If anyone has seen Shonnell Perry or Lucia Perry they are asked to call Detroit Police at 313-596-5800.
