Less than 2 percent of Ohioans have completed the COVID-19 vaccination process.

OHIO — Nearly 200,000 Ohioans have completed the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the Ohio Department of Health (ODH).
“The second dose of the vaccine is very important because it further boosts the immune response to ensure long-term protection,” said ODH Chief Medical Officer Dr. Bruce Vanderhoff. “Showing this data on our dashboard will help show how many Ohioans are protected from COVID-19.”
After much discussion, the state health department released data on who has received the second COVID-19 vaccine shot this week. As of Tuesday, 199,902 Ohioans have completed the vaccination process. That's 1.71 percent of Ohio's population.
