Schools In Cleveland-Area Cancel Classes Due To Heat
With temperatures expected to climb into the high 80s, school administrators told kids to stay home on Monday.

CLEVELAND, OH—More than a dozen schools across northeast Ohio have canceled classes today due to forecast of heat and humidity. Among the schools, the 26 Constellation Schools across Cuyahoga and Lorain counties have canceled school for today.
A message on the charter schools’ web site cites the weather. In the Cleveland area, the temperatures are expected to reach the high 80s.

Also in Cuyahoga County, the Parma City Schools, Holy Name High School, Holy Family Elementary, St. Bridget Elementary, St. Charles Borromeo Elementary and St. Columbkille Elementary. In Lorain County, the Lorain Community School has canceled classes today, too.
