Who Announced Layoffs In Ohio At End Of January?
Two companies filed notices with the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services last week.
COLUMBUS, OH — More than 90 employees at DSW Shoe Warehouse in Columbus will be laid off as the company restructures.
According to a notice filed with the state, DSW is restructuring its customer service functions and, as a result, will layoff 92 employees. The layoffs will begin March 27, 2021.
Tween Brands, which is in the midst of its own restructuring, announced that it would extend two employees, rather than lay them off. Those workers will now have jobs through Feb. 25, 2021, according to a letter filed with the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services.
